Ecommerce website development in Bangalore, end to end

We handle the whole store — design, build, migration, and the growth work after launch.

Shopify & Shopify Plus development

Themes built from scratch or on a paid theme, custom sections your marketing team can edit, Plus scripts, and checkout extensions. See our Shopify development services.

Headless & custom ecommerce

When Shopify alone does not fit: Next.js storefronts on commerce APIs, B2B portals, custom pricing logic, and ERP integrations. See our headless commerce development work.

UI/UX design & CRO

Product and collection pages designed around how people actually buy, then tested. We design for conversion rate, not for awards.

Platform migrations

WooCommerce, Magento, OpenCart, or custom PHP to Shopify. Products, customers, orders, and URL redirects move with the store live throughout. We also build headless storefronts when a replatform calls for it.

Ecommerce SEO

Technical fixes, collection page architecture, structured data, and content that ranks category pages instead of just the homepage.

Apps & custom plugins

D2C mobile apps, private Shopify apps, and integrations with Unicommerce, Shiprocket, Razorpay, Zoho, and your warehouse systems.

AI commerce, built into the store

Search is moving from ten blue links to answers. We build for both — the store your customers use, and the systems that now recommend it.

AI shopping assistant

A product-aware assistant grounded in your catalogue, policies, and past support tickets using retrieval, so it answers from your data instead of guessing. It points at real products and your actual returns policy rather than inventing either.

AI customer support

Deflects order status, returns, and sizing questions before they reach your inbox, and hands off to a human cleanly when it should. Most D2C support volume is the same six questions asked a thousand ways.

Semantic search and recommendations

Search that understands “something for oily skin under 800” instead of matching keywords, and recommendations built on real purchase behaviour rather than a generic also-viewed widget.

AI search readiness

Getting your brand into the answers ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Perplexity, and Gemini give when someone asks what to buy. That means structured data, clean product feeds, answer-first content, and a knowledge base a machine can actually parse.

Conversational commerce

WhatsApp and on-site chat flows that carry an order from question to checkout without leaving the conversation — the channel most Indian buyers already default to.

Retention and loyalty

Points, tiers, and cashback wired into the storefront rather than bolted on top of it. See Retainley, our own loyalty and retention app for Shopify.

Industries we build for

We know the catalogue quirks, checkout rules, and compliance details of each of these categories.

Ecommerce development for Bangalore’s D2C belt

Most of the brands we work with in the city sit in a handful of pockets, and the brief changes depending on which one.

  1. 01

    Koramangala and HSR Layout

Where a lot of early-stage D2C gets built. Founders here are usually technical or close to it, and the brief is often launch fast, then instrument everything. We build on Shopify with clean analytics and event tracking from day one, so the first ten thousand orders actually teach you something. Our own Bangalore office is in Koramangala, so these are the meetings we take in person.

  2. 02

    Indiranagar

Retail-heavy. Brands here usually already have a store or a stockist network, so the build has to sit alongside offline rather than compete with it: shared inventory, click and collect, store locators, and loyalty that works in both places.

  3. 03

    Whitefield and Electronic City

Enterprise and manufacturing territory. Requirements lean B2B: customer-specific pricing, bulk order forms, GST-compliant invoicing, and integration into an existing ERP. That is usually a Shopify Plus or headless build rather than a theme.

Bangalore buyers skew prepaid and English-first, which changes what the checkout should optimise for compared with a store selling largely on cash on delivery. It also means your marketing team can usually edit the store themselves — so we build custom sections they can actually use, rather than a theme only a developer can touch.

Work we have shipped

Three projects, three different problems — a full brand build, a journey for a product Shopify was not designed for, and a revamp of a store that already worked.

Yogabar

Branding · Figma design · custom Shopify theme · ongoing maintenance

Yogabar came to us for the whole thing rather than a piece of it. We designed the brand and the full storefront in Figma, then built a custom Shopify theme from scratch instead of configuring a purchased one, which is why the site behaves the way the design intended rather than approximately. We launched it and have run maintenance on it since.

Conversion rate in the first three months after launch, with bounce rate down about 20%.

Safe House

Custom purchase journey · Figma design · Shopify build

Safe House sells VPN subscriptions, so almost none of the standard D2C playbook applied: no sizes, no shipping, no returns window, and a decision driven by trust rather than product photography. Their existing site was not built for any of that. We designed a custom purchase journey in Figma around how people actually evaluate a security product, then built it on Shopify.

BoxUp Gifting

Rebrand · storefront revamp · custom bundling

BoxUp already had a Shopify store that worked. The problem was that it had stopped matching where the brand was going. We reworked the branding, redesigned the customer journey, revamped the storefront, and built the custom features corporate gifting actually needs — including product bundling, which Shopify does not handle well on its own.

What happens after you get in touch

Four steps, each with a named owner and a date — you always know who is working on what.

Step 01

Free store audit

We look at your current store or your requirements and send a written audit: what is costing you sales, what we would change, and what it would take.

Step 02

Scope and fixed quote

A written scope with deliverables, timeline, and a fixed quote for that scope. You approve it before any code is written.

Step 03

Build in weekly sprints

You get a staging link from week one and a demo every Friday. Feedback goes into the next sprint, not into a queue.

Step 04

Launch and support

We handle go-live, watch analytics and errors for the first two weeks, and stay on for support, CRO, or growth work if you want it.

Why brands pick us over other ecommerce companies in Bangalore

In-house engineers, senior people on your project, and work you can verify with references before you sign.

In-house team, no subcontractors

The engineers and designers on your project are on our payroll and in our office. Nothing is passed to a freelancer you never meet.

Scoped quotes, not open hours

Work is quoted against a written scope, so the number you approve is the number you pay. Changes are quoted before they happen.

Questions brands ask before hiring us

The things that come up on every first call, answered plainly.

How much does ecommerce website development cost in Bangalore?

A Shopify store typically costs ₹2,00,000 to ₹3,00,000 for development. Custom brand design adds ₹70,000 to ₹1,20,000 if you want a storefront built around your own identity rather than a configured theme. Migrations and headless builds are quoted separately because scope varies. You get a fixed quote against a written scope before any code is written.

How long does ecommerce website development in Bangalore take?

A Shopify build with a standard catalogue takes 30 to 45 working days, which is about six to nine weeks. Migrations and headless storefronts sit at the longer end of that range. The timeline is fixed in the scope document and you get a staging link from week one, so you can see progress instead of asking for it.

Which is the best ecommerce development company in Bangalore?

No agency can honestly call itself the best, so judge on evidence: ask for stores you can visit, references you can call, and a written scope with a fixed price. FarziEngineer is a Shopify Plus Partner, ISO 9001:2015 and SOC 2 Type II certified, and has built stores for over 200 D2C brands since 2018. We work from Koramangala and will send references before you sign.

Can we meet your team in person in Bangalore?

Yes. Our Bangalore office is at Nexus, 1A Block, SBI Colony, Koramangala, Bengaluru 560034, and we take meetings there Monday to Friday between 10am and 7pm IST. For brands in Whitefield, Electronic City, or Indiranagar we will usually come to you instead. Call +91 93547 01759 to arrange it.

Do you build B2B ecommerce for manufacturers in Bangalore?

Yes. B2B builds usually need customer-specific pricing, bulk and repeat order forms, GST-compliant invoicing, credit terms, and integration into an existing ERP or warehouse system. That is normally a Shopify Plus or headless build rather than a standard theme, and we scope it as such.

Should I build on Shopify or go headless?

Shopify suits most D2C brands and is faster to launch and cheaper to run. Headless makes sense when you need custom pricing logic, B2B portals, ERP integrations, or page speed that a theme cannot reach. We will tell you which one your requirement actually needs rather than defaulting to the larger build.

What happens to my existing store during a migration?

It stays live and selling. We build the new store on a staging domain, move products, customers, and orders across, map every old URL to a new one, and switch DNS in a planned window. Nothing goes dark and rankings carry over.

Can you fix or improve a store someone else built?

Yes, that is a large part of our work. We audit the existing store, list what is hurting performance or conversion, and fix it in priority order. You do not have to rebuild from scratch to get a better result.

What support do I get after launch?

Two weeks of post-launch monitoring for errors, checkout issues, and analytics are included. After that you can move to a monthly retainer for development, CRO, and ecommerce SEO, or simply call us when something needs doing.

Where is your Bangalore office?

Our Bangalore office is at Nexus, 1A Block, SBI Colony, Koramangala, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560034. The team works Monday to Friday, 10am to 7pm IST, and you can call +91 93547 01759 to arrange a meeting. We also have offices in Delhi NCR, Lucknow, and Chicago.

Do you only work with brands in Bangalore?

Most of the brands on this page are in and around Bangalore, and we meet them in person. We also build for brands across India, the US, and the UK from our Delhi NCR, Lucknow, and Chicago offices. The process is the same wherever you are.
